India Heritage & Cultural Center is a planned new facility next to the Hindu Temple (33916 155th Ln,, Off Hwy 17, Madrid, IA 50156). For the past 15 years, while members of India origin have performed cultural activities and celebrated India’s rich heritage and festivals, they have been increasingly restricted by a limited space for the growing community and growing interest in more activities including: cultural celebration, social events, education, and community service.

The IHCC will help fulfil the long-standing vision. It will be a venue to strengthen the cultural, social, educational, spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of our lives and communities.  It will make our, and our children’s experiences richer by facilitating community-based activities that celebrate and share deep cultural values, heritage, ceremonies, languages, and arts.

We invite inquiries from licensed contractors for sitework, metal building, engineering, concrete, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, exterior walls, interior framing and walls, painting, kitchen and stage equipping, furnishing, and Indian artwork for walls.  Please send inquiry and area of interest to ihcc@htcciowa.org. After initial discussions, engineering and architectural drawings will be provided for developing and submitting a proposal or bid for one or multiple tasks of this project.
